This stunning gothic 1800s built mansion commands your attention here for a few informative moments as we step back in time to over 100 years ago.

Erected by Sir William McConnell who, at that time, was Idahos third operative Governor but died in the early 60s leaving the magnificent property to family, then later donated to Latah County.

There have been multiple reports of ghost sightings in and around the mansion.

One lady claims she lived nearby whilst a student in rented accommodation and she saw plumes of white smoke being emitted from the chimney funnel only to be later informed that the mansion had not been lived in since being occupied by the McConnells themselves way back in the 1800s.

One couple who took part in a guided tour reported two heavy doors spontaneously slamming themselves shut.

Another visitor states he witnessed mysterious white lights in one corner of the hallway whilst others have heard sounds of unexplained distant celebrations, as if they'd stepped into a party of bygone days.

A fascinating mansion with a very Adams Family house aesthetic, I'm just wondering if it's just coincidence its situated on 'ADAMS' street?

A must see for anyone in the Moscow Idaho area. Why not take advantage of one of the guided tours now available and pick up on some local history.
