The Haunted Elevator And Kitchen Poltergeist | The Victor Hotel | Victor, Colorado | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

From dark wooded drives to communities roamed by the dead, welcome to Colorado.

The Victor Hotel, located in the mining town of Victor Colorado, was first erected in 1899 with construction being funded by the Woods Brothers. The building was originally a four storey bank building.

This prestigious building went on to operate as a jewellery store and later as a hospital and morgue.

In 1991 the site was purchased by Victor Hotels LLC who reopened the venue in 1992 as The Victor Hotel, offering luxurious accommodation and an iconic side door restaurant and lounge.

Disembodied footsteps from vacant hallways, encounters with misty apparitions and sudden rushes of ice cold air are all phenomena experienced here.

Long ago, a gentleman known as Eddie, who stayed in room 301, fell down an elevator shaft from the third floor.

Today this original birdcage style elevator is the oldest operating elevator in the whole of the state.

Those who stay in Eddies room (Room 301) never sleep soundly and hear heavy footsteps and creepy shuffling sounds about the room once darkness falls.

Eddies apparition has been seen to manifest wearing a black cowboy hat and plaid shirt.

Room 307 is known for items seen physically levitating mid air.

Chef staff continually report utensils being violently thrown across the kitchens by unseen forces seemingly synonymous with poltergeist activity.

The elevator has been known to spontaneously activate, often coming to a halt on, you guessed it, the third floor.

Could these be the restless spirits of the hundreds of corpses stored in the morgue when the building ran as a hospital?

Or is the ghost of Eddie still trying to reach his destination?
