The Many Ghosts Of Disneyland | Anaheim, California | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Welcome to the place renowned as ‘the happiest place on earth’.

Disneyland is a whole other world, right?

There is so much mystery and legend associated with Disneyland, in Anaheim California, that you might actually be experiencing a 'whole other world’.

Each and every year, hundreds of visitors report that the energy at the park feels completely different, mysterious, almost spiritual.

Surges of paranormal activity, infesting multiple buildings amidst the park, are often experienced.

Disneyland is the only theme park designed and instructed by Walt Disney himself. Walter Elias Disney (born 5th Dec, 1901/died 15th Dec, 1966) had a vision of a dream park.

During the 1930s and 40s Walt, along with his daughters, set about visiting many amusements parks all across America.

In 1953 he purchased 160 acres of land near Anaheim and set about creating his vision. All aspects of construction and design came under the direct supervision of Walter himself. The park opened its doors on July 17th, 1955 the park was unveiled via a massive ABC Press event and phenomenal media coverage.

In 2001 Disneys California Adventure opened its gates just adjacent the park to accommodate growing crowds. 1966 brought the additions of the New Orleans Square and Mickeys Toon Town was introduced to the world in 1993, with 2019 welcoming the Star Wars ‘Galaxys Edge’ experience with further expansion plans and exciting projects in progress.

Visitors often describe having their hair pulled and being unexplainably touched whilst exploring the park.

Let’s take a look at some for the reported hauntings encountered within the park today.

The Baby Care Centre

An apparition known amongst staff as the ‘woman in white’, a female spectre regularly seen roaming the centre. It is suggested the lady lived at this location long before it was ever a park.

Space Mountain

Believed haunted by a ghostly apparition who actively steps onto rides with passengers. CCTV monitors have captured this figure much to the astonishment of onlookers.

This apparition is believed to be the spirit of a young man who fell from this ride during the 1970s. He is described as tall, with red hair, and always vanishes before the ride ends.

The Star Trader and Tomorrow Land

Cast members report encounters with an evil menacing presence up on the fourth floor stock room, creepy cold spots and gusts of wind, where there are no windows or doors.

The Disney Gallery

The ghost of Walt Disney himself has been seen walking Main Street and within the fire station. An apartment was constructed above the fire station when Walt visited. He always left a window lamp on. Today, that lamp is seen to unexplainably switch on and off, even when the room is locked and unoccupied.

Tom Sawyers Island

It is alleged that three young boys drowned in the River of America. The ghost of one of those boys is often sighted here.

The Haunted Mansion

The mansion is home to three known entities, with many reporting being physically touched by unseen hands and describe a negative entity which makes visitors feel anxious and afraid.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Haunted by a young boy whose ashes are buried here. Many have sighted the little boy exploring near the pirate boat exhibits.

The People Mover Ride (now closed)

When in operation this section any blonde haired little girls would report a sensation of having their ponytails pulled. It is suggested this is the spirit of a man who died when he fell from the ride, he grabbed onto his girlfriends hair, she had blonde hair and was wearing it in a ponytail.

The Christmas Shop

Presents an ominous atmosphere. A lady in a Victorian era photograph, up on a shelf, has been known to horrifically frown at the living as they pass by.

Matahorn Mountain

This section is believed stalked by the restless soul of Dolly, a lady who fell from her sled and was crushed to death by the sled coming in from behind her.

It’s A Small World

Animatronix have been seen operating unaided, as if coming alive, many do not even have electrical power.

Lots of people are enjoying the park today, it’s just that some may not have a physical body.

But do what you came to do, have fun, in the happiest place on earth.
