Angry Walter at The Slaughter House Pub | Liverpool City Centre | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | United Kingdom | BoiCGH

This pub is so haunted it welcomed Yvette Fielding and the Most Haunted tv crew hosted a livestreamed investigation here.

Nestled in the dark back streets of Liverpools gothic era Fenwick Street quarter stands The Slaughter House, Liverpools oldest pub. It has been suggested this is was old abattoir site,  activity here certainly is demonstrative of a turbulent past. Earliest records state the first tenant here was Peter Edwards in 1827.

The pub is believed to be residually haunted by two active spirits and customers frequently report witnessing full body apparitions and misty light anomalies around the bar and cloakroom areas.

Other reports include the sounds of a little boy crying, whilst other customers have felt hair being moved across their hands by invisible fingers. Glasses being clinked when there's nobody there.

Some have even claimed to have spoken to one of these entities who claims his name is Walter Langton from 1800. Walter retells how he once worked here and angrily asks guests to 'please leave'.

Then there's the ghost a lady dressed in victorian frock and bonnet, claiming she is looking for her son who was crushed in an accident (maybe linked to the sounds of the crying boy?)

If you visit, beware of Walter.
