The Voices In The Walls At the Niels And Mellie Esperson Buildings | Houston, Texas | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

The Niels And Mellie Esperson Buildings are located downtown Houston, Texas.

Constructed in 1903, by a theater architect whose trademark was terracota floors and brass elevator doors, the Niels and Mellie Esperson buildings garnered much attention as it combined the look of an American skyscraper with an Italian renaissance style. Similar structures can be found in Rome, Venice and Florence.

Famous Bollywood movie 'Sirf Tum' (1999) had many scenes filmed at the buildings tower top.

This multi tenant complex was once the tallest building in Texas, and the largest building in Houston throughout the Great Depression.

Niels and Mellie Esperson relocated to the Houston area in order to pursue oil business ventures.

In 1922 sadly Neils passed away, leaving Mellie to continue their legacy which she did until she could no more.

Today the building remains a significant historical landmark and still operates as offices housing real estate, oil and banking companies.

However, this building is believed haunted by the spirit of Mellie Esperson herself, whose full spectrum apparition is frequently encountered here.

Mellie is seemingly a residual haunting and is often seen casually sat at her desk within the office space she resided in life.

This location has quite the reputation for paranormal activity and many report feeling a mysterious energy whilst at this location.

Staff and visitors often report unexplained electronic malfunction, ominous light anomalies and creepy slinking shadow figures within rooms.

Many have described sudden, and extreme, drops in room temperature, a feeling of being closely followed and doors spontaneously and violently slamming shut.

But perhaps the most disturbing phenomena experienced here are the voices, chillingly calling out, as if from inside the walls.

Could this location be acting as some sort of magnet to the spirits of its past?
