The Workers Return Home | The Rail Road Ghosts at The Pioneer Inn | Pierce Idaho | Paranormal | Historical | IdaHaunts

The Pioneer Inn, earlier known as Cedar Inn, is located in the historical gold rush town of Pierce, Idaho. The inn was built in 1865 originally to provide local rail workers with a warm bed at the end of a long day.

The Inn is reportedly 'incredibly haunted' with many guests describing hearing unexplained sounds of running footsteps, doors banging shut and creepy disembodied conversations. It has been suggested that these are the spirits of these railroad workers who once stayed here and now enjoy stopping by from time to time for a visit!

There are specific spirits which seem unaware of their passing, just think 'The Sixth Sense'. Maybe these are such spirits. What do you think?

There have been families who claimed that this haunted phenomena actually kept them awake during the night and they requested to be relocated to other rooms. These supernatural visitors are, however, non malevolent in nature.

Have you ever stayed a night here? Did you experience anything paranormal?

We would love to hear your haunted Idaho stories in the comment section below.
