Unexplained Supernatural Twilight Mist at The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs | La Grande Oregon | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

If you like haunted hotels with views of night mists rising from lakes, The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs is for you.

Originally erected in 1864, located on the banks of East Oregon, the hotel was utilised by natives as place of healing for those seeking therapeutic treatments before settlers invaded. In 1920 the building was converted it into an insane asylum which later burned down. Sadly the site was temporarily left derelict but later reopened as The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs.

There have been unusually high levels of car crashes reported from the local area, and many believe it to be linked to a creepy unexplained 'mist' which frequently 'rolls in' once twilight falls.

Is this mist some sort of supernatural manifestation? Could this entity be malevolent in nature, thereby effecting its surroundings in a negative manner?

Many families state witnessing unexplained paranormal phenomena during their stay here including haunting piano music being playing, the hotel does not have a piano.

A gardener committed suicide by hanging himself in the gazebo just outside and many guests claim to have seen multiple ghostly apparitions actively roaming this very gazebo.

Could this gardener be residually haunting the gazebo today?

Today the hotel operates as a 'cosy haunted B&B' offering one of the largest hot springs in the north west,  spas, newly renovated movie theatre. A truly idyllic settling if you can handle its ominous past!

Why not book a stay and share your experiences with us in the comment section below.
