So what about ghosts?

Welcome to Turnbull Canyon, Whittier California, originally called 'Hutukngy' meaning 'The Devils Place' by local communities. 

It is suggested that this area acts as a 'magnet for true evil' so it came as no surprise to discover its dark and sinister past. Some say this place is 'bathed in blood'.

Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts frequently report creepy and unexplained phenomena from shadow figures to full spectrum entities roaming the hills.

Turnbull Canyon sits amidst the Puente Hills overlooking a scenic hiking trail. This location is alleged to be haunted by the spirits of many. During the 1950s a aeroplane fatally crashed in these woodlands, killing twenty nine individuals.

Many say that there are Indigenous Native American spirits trapped here today. These natives fought hard in life, for ownership of their land. You better believe these spirits are not happy, seeking to cause chaos and unrest, in turn making this location a continual hub of residual and highly malevolent energy.  

This canyon has been rumoured the site of early KKK (KuKlux Klan) meetings. Also, during the 1940s, a large group of small children were kidnapped from a nearby orphanage. Their tiny bodies later mercilessly used in ritualistic occult ceremonies. Some have even heard unexplained and most distressing sounds of childrens cries piercing the night.

Are these little children desperately seeking for a way to cross over to the supernatural?

What really lurks within this canyons deep dark depths?

A scenic hiking area, or an entry to Hell?
