You Will Still Hear The Screams | Little Girl Who Fell To Her Death Haunts The Driskill Hotel | Texas | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Marbled floors, copper ceilings, snakeskin walls and cowhide chairs. Welcome to the Driskill Hotel in the heart of downtown Austin, Texas.

Built by Colonel Jesse Driskill in 1866, this 189 room hotel is home to some great Texan history. However, that might not be all it is home to. The Driskill Hotel is allegedly haunted by multiple entities including a four year old girl who fell to her death.

Also there have been two bridal suicides within these walls. These events were twenty years apart but how do you explain that both brides took their own lives in the very same bath tub in Room 525?

In 1887, the little girl we mentioned earlier was allegedly chasing after a ball when she slipped and tragically fell to her death down the grand staircase.

It has been said that 'if you listen closely, you will still hear her screams followed by giggling sounds and the sinister echoes of a bouncing ball'.

Last of all, it is reported that visitors have spotted the apparition of none other than Colonel Jesse Driskill himself. Each time this phenomena is experienced there seems to be an accompanying fragrance of cigar smoke and unexplained misty light anomalies usually in the foyer area.

Many guests will frequently state that they feel 'unexplainably uncomfortable' whilst walking the corridors here.

Are you ready for the Driskill?

And if the paranormal is not your forte, well they have a very nice in-house harpist and some very fine first class cuisine to anticipate here.

The only question is, are you brave enough to book Room 525?

If you are, what are looking forward to most?
