Entity Infestation At Haunted Creek Road | Ojai, California | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Creek Road, located along the San Antonio Creek in Ojai California, was originally inhabited by the Chumarsh communities until the arrival of the European settlers.

During 1837 Fernando Tiko received a Mexican Land Grant and ventured here from Santa Barbara with his family and set up a cattle ranch.

In 1853 Fernando sold the estate to Thomas A Scott. Soon after, during 1917, oil drilling commenced here.

In 1874 Creek road was a dirt road, named Nordhoff, used by horse and carts and was one of the very first roads to be carved from Californias natural landscapes.

The road is actively used today and steeped in local tales of ghosts and folklore.

Lets take a look.

A terrifying entity known as the Char Man (see our linked Char Man movie recommendation below) has been known to violently attack pedestrians crossing Creek Road Bridge.

The Char Man appears as a robed figure, with distorted facial features which appear covered in blood. Some believe him to be the spirit of a firefighter who succumbed to a blaze during a rescue mission in 1948.

The spirit has been heard audibly calling out “please help me” as if still engulfed amidst flames. But beware!

If you get too close to this entity you risk sustaining actual burns, becoming yet another victim of the Char Man.

Others have alleged the Char Man to be the victim of a local house fire who enjoys lingering nearby his earthly home.

This area is also the site of the Ojai Vampire sightings, which is popular legend claiming that a European vampire lies, staked through the heart, hidden in caves along the Creek Road stretch.

There have been sightings of a spectral female on horseback, accompanied by a native shaman practitioner.

A female wearing a bloodied wedding dress is often encountered crossing the bridge. It is speculated she was murdered by her fiance, on her wedding day, as he attempted to seize her bank funds.

During the 1980s a motorcyclist was killed, sustaining decapitation. He suffered a heart attack and died at the scene.

This perhaps explains the ghostly phantom motorcyclist, missing his head, aimlessly roaming this site.

Could there be dark spirits continually plaguing Creek Road today?

There is certainly no shortage of spectres here, which is why Creek Road is known as the most haunted location in Ojai County.
