The Curse Of La Llorona (2021) | Movie Recommendation | Community | BoiCGH

Earlier we posted about the Legend of La Llorona (article linked below)

So we thought now would be the perfect time to share the La Llorona movie recommendation!

‘SHE CREEPS IN THE SHADOWS AND PREYS ON CHILDREN…DESPERATE TO REPLACE HER OWN’

The Curse Of La Llorona (2021)

Produced by James Wan who produced The Conjuring movies.

Also, if you enjoyed The Nun (2018) this is for you.

The children in this movie were highly praised for their outstanding performances.

La Llorona, a Mexican folklore also known as the Weeping Woman, who killed her own children and now she wants yours!

Set in 1970s California, Los Angeles, the tale follows the story of a Social Worker played by actress Linda Cardelini (who played Velma in Scooby Doo 2002) investigates the disappearance of two young boys.

This film is truly frightening!

La Llorona prowls the night and will catch your attention by crying, loudly, through the darkness.

For centuries this timeless Mexican legend has been recited around bonfires but what if you discovered it was more than just folklore?

Effective cinematography, no shortage of really amplified sound jump scares and great plot.

I just hope you don’t hear the call of La Llorona tonight…
