Parapsychology is the in depth scientific study of the paranormal, researching alleged psychic phenomena and people are fascinated by it.

Why?

Because regardless of whether or not a person has experienced a paranormal encounter, it seems evident that most paranormal enthusiasts share one common denominator, and that is 'the eternal hope of visually witnessing paranormal phenomena'.

The word paranormal can mean so many different things for different people.

The considered alternatives will not be classed as a haunting until scientifically proven which involves many hours of set up, experimental testing, data and analytical study.

Parapsychology covers the in depth academic study of topics such as ESP Extrasensory Perception which covers (telepathy, clairvoyance and precognition), PK (psychokinesis), near/afterdeath experiences, hauntings, poltergeists and mediumship.

The Institute Of Parapsychology in North Carolina first began studies back in the 1930s at their Duke University.
